WHO WE ARE
LCFOR is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization founded in 2017 by a group of business leaders dedicated to improving Louisiana’s transportation system. By 2021, the organization grew to over 100 members from across all industries that together successfully dedicated recurring revenue to transportation for the first time in a generation.

To bring people together in a way that builds consensus around substantially improving our state’s transportation infrastructure.

For Louisiana to build and maintain a world-class transportation system that will forever be the foundation on which a robust and diverse Louisiana economy can thrive.

LCFOR is leading the private-sector effort to determine how best to reform and optimize the Department.
Fall 2024
There will be specific and actionable recommendations from the private sector made available to the Department.
January 2025
DOTD will generate and submit a strategy for implementation to the Governor.
